With over 35 years of entrepreneurial experience, Joe has brought a passion to assisting others in building success both for their Companies and their people's respective careers. Having started, owned and operated his own businesses; Joe brings an empathy for all company owners.   

 

Joe’s business Nantucket Private leverages his long term relationship with Briggs Capital, a leading M&A firm with a focus on small to midsize companies. His experience as a long time business owner well positions him in determining a company's valuation as well as the marketing and selling of any business. Working with Briggs Capital in a Senior Advisory role blends his experience with an M&A firm who have assisted in selling 100's of businesses.

 

 

One of Joe's previous ventures included the E.C. Scott Group which Joe co-founded and where he assembled a Sales Team that took the company from zero to over 55 million in sales. Before the E.C. Scott Group Joe’s previous apparel sourcing company generated over 50 million in sales annually with offices in NYC and Shanghai. He also assisted in starting a successful software business and a power management business.
 

 

Since the sale of his last entrepreneurial endeavor, a military supply company, Joe's focus is now on his Briggs partnership and assisting companies in finding the right partners whether to execute a growth strategy or a sale.
